Meet at wayside north of Jim Falls on Hwy 178. Led by Rod Gont. A short business meeting will follow at the Four Corners (Hwy S & 124) to discuss the open house and volunteer work day on the 11th. They will be serving until 9:00, so a late supper would be possible if you are interested.
May 11sWednesdaysVolunteer Work Days State Park (rain day May 12)
A volunteer work day to pull invasive mustard weed in and around the campsites in the Park. (Time will be added later.)
June 5sSunday, 1pm-4pmsOpen House sLake Wissota State Park
Start with an 8:30 potluck breakfast at Chuck Card campsite. Open House activities include: ~ Kayak & canoe rides ~ Kids activities. Lake Fair activities to be added later. Park entrance and fishing is free.
August 9sTuesday, 6pmsPrairie WalksLake Wissota State Park
Meet at the Prairie Sign for a walk led by naturalist, Rod Gont. Members may hold a short meeting following the walk in the Nature Center.

A 30-minute program on snowshoe history and use starts at 6:30. Bring your own refreshments, snowshoes available. Call to reserve snowshoes 715-967-2800. FLWSP may also borrow snowshoes from LWSP.

Friends gather at Middendorp's home to ski or snowshoe (or walk if no snow) (3-5pm) and return to their home for chili around 5pm. Bring accompaniments for chili. Meet afterwards to finalize plans for winter candle light ski/snowshoe night.

Lighted ski, snowshoe, walking trails. Refreshments are available. Call 715- 967-2800 to reserve a pair of snowshoes.
